Land Rover’s Defender relaunched after 20 years

To celebrate this event, we collaborated with The Atlantic and Defender enthusiast John Mayer to create an adventure series in the great outdoors.

Driving up the Northern California coastlines, Mayer went searching for…well, he didn’t exactly know.

But like fellow explorers, he ended up discovering far more than imagined.
